Licensing Hours Extensions Bill | Update

Following on from yesterday’s article regarding the Licensing Hours Extensions Bill, Emma Lewell-Buck, who was one of  two MPs who sponsored the  Bill, has confirmed that the Bill was not included in the ‘wash up’ and has therefore now fallen away.

She hopes to reintroduce the Bill in the next Parliament if re-elected to Parliament.

Ms Lewell-Buck is currently campaigning for re-election in the South Shields constituency.
